In our bongalow was not normal toilet it was like in medieval castle.

The view from the hotel is absolutely stunning, and that alone makes the stay worthwhile. The included breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety, and the staff were consistently lovely and very helpful. The cocktails at the bar were excellent as well. The room itself was good—comfortable and clean—but not particularly remarkable for the price point, in my opinion. Ultimately, the common areas, the breathtaking views, and the quality of service are the true highlights of this property. We also enjoyed participating in the yoga class.

The hotel sits at the top of a steep hill, which can be challenging to reach by scooter unless you’re a very confident driver. We chose to walk the 2 km path each day, which was fine and accurately described in the listing. However, we did encounter a few neighborhood dogs at night that behaved a bit aggressively and got quite close to us. Of course, this isn’t something the hotel controls, but it’s worth being aware of if you’ll be walking back after dark. We also spent New Year’s Eve at the hotel and booked the special dinner experience. While the food itself was very good and the tables very well decorated, we unfortunately wouldn’t recommend the event—at least not with the current vendor. There were several “spiritual” activities included that hadn’t been advertised beforehand and made us uncomfortable. It took away from the evening, as most guests seemed more interested in simply enjoying the night—talking, dancing, and celebrating—rather than participating in these unexpected activities. We really wish this had been communicated clearly in advance so guests could choose whether it suited them.

I loved the view of the volcano, perfect sunset view. They have cool events, great prices, clean water everywhere you go. The staff helps you with everything including booking tours and rides. The rooms are spotless and the bathroom is well maintained. The food here is organic and delicious. I cannot wait to come back. Also the hammock on the balcony is the best. Breakfast is included and it’s very very good.

Ik had twee losse boekingen waardoor ik 2x een review kan schrijven en ik wil toch wat positiever zijn na de laatste twee nachten dan m'n review van de eerste nacht! Na twee nachten went het namelijk wel om tussen de dieren in de jungle slapen! Elke ochtend het meest lekkere ontbijt met zo een uitzicht op de vulkaan is echt adembenemend!! Personeel is echt mega vriendelijk en spreekt goed Engels! Avond eten is er ook goed! Dus je hoeft niet 's avonds weg om buiten de deur te eten maar hun eigen restaurant is veel gezelliger!

De weg ernaartoe is pittig maar na 2x word je er wel een pro in en gaat het steeds makkelijker af

Het uitzicht is grandioos, het personeel is zeer vriendelijke en spreekt ook goed Engels! Super mooi verzorgd resort! Lekker eten in het restaurant!

Let op dat als je echt niet van insecten en spinnen houd je dit gewoon echt niet moet boeken doordat het wel echt in de jungle ligt. Je moet echt een ervaren scooter rijder zijn wil je hier boven komen, hobbelige keien naar boven en 's avonds geen verlichting dus pik donker zeker wel 10 minuten. Zwembad is inderdaad wel aan een renovatie toe en een paar ligbedden bij het zwembad zou ook fijn zijn dat je ook eens een dagje bij het resort kan blijven chillen.
