Totoco Eco Resort

Het is een prachtig resort met uitzicht op de Concepcion vulkaan. Onze kamer was van alle gemakken voorzien en was erg ruim. Iedere dag werd de kamer opgefrist, dat was fijn. Het ontbijt was inbegrepen en was kwalitatief goed. Het personeel was erg aardig en behulpzaam. We hebben meerder excursies en transporten via hen geboekt en dat liep altijd vlekkeloos.

Het enige nadeel van het resort is dat het op een heuvel ligt en de weg daarheen niet goed onderhouden is. Met een ATV (eventueel een scooter als je een goede driver bent) kom je goed naar boven, maar wandelend is het best een afstand.

I loved everything about this place - the staff, the activities, the nature, views, cabins.

I preferred the smaller cabin with shower indoors. Steep road up the hill on stones was a bit rough. No wifi in the cabins was a disappointment.

The place felt very peaceful and calm. The view of the volcano was amazing and the staff was very helpful and kind. The vegetable curry we had for dinner was so hearty and wholesome.

Incredible views, spacious room and very nice staff.

The breakfast is really disappointing, waited over 40 minutes and then it arrived cold, came with really bad coffee, which almost never happens in Nicaragua.

Unbeatable location, exceptional staff, really friendly & helpful, very comfortable family home with stunning views. Where the resort is located very close to all the beautiful aspects of Ometepe.

Road up to property is a little challenging but not enough to have missed this paradise location.

Room was not cleaned after check in Quite noisy (gardener at 4am each day + neighbours at other properties playing music in evening) No hand towel provided

Location is really nice, overlooking the lake, immersed in the nature. The breakfast is quite nice and the bar/chill area is very very pretty. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

It’s a bit of a bumpy ride to get up and down, you need to have good skills if you’re using a motorcycle or a regular car, while with an ATV or proper 4x4 is easy, but definitely not comfortable. While the bar area is well maintained, the pool area might deserve a renovation. During our stay there was unfortunately fires by the people working in the field/forest nearby and the smoke invaded often our room.

The host was very helpfull and friendly. He helped us with some trips like the kayak tour and horseriding. The view is just Amazing. When you take a swim and look at the Vulcano it feels a bit unreal. The yoga room was the most beautifull one I have ever seen!!

It’s a rockt road to reach. Walking up takes about 30min, walking down around 20. So you have to rent a motor cycle of ATV. We recommend to stay her for a few nights to enjoy the place itself (because its magical), but combine with a stay more in the center for exploring the island.

la vue est dingue ! et il y a des cours de yoga tous les matins. on est au milieu de la jungle, on entends les singes hurleurs la nuit !

beaucoup d'insectes, et pas des petits, il faut etre à l'aise avec ça à Ometepe en generale. la maison que nous avions été vétuste et un peu flippante avec les grandes vitres partout. La piscine est également vieille.
