Best Western Plus Traverse City

Easy in and out

We stayed with our first Best Western Plus hotel last spring on our return from winter in AZ a d found the experience a delightful one. This stay in Traverse City left a bit to be desired. I did not receive my discounted rate as a BW member, or as a AAA member, the room was small, the bed too high off the floor and of lesser quality and a bathroom wall repair was far from completed.

The staff!! The housekeeping manager Emily was great! The front desk guest service reps (Sheila and Carrie) were both great. So helpful. The nice lady that takes care of the snack and breakfast bar was really nice. She made sure the counteracts stayed clean and pucked up. We saw Sheila helping too when the breakfast area got busy, refilling utensils, etc. and asking if we had any other needs. This was the best experience we have had with the staff members you have working there. They work together and you really have a great group there. Treat them well!!

The air conditioner kept turning off and on all night frequently. We didn't have a freezer in the refrigerator for our gel packs.

I absolutely adored this clean hotel. First of all, the staff here are amazing. They take pride in their work and make every guest feel welcomed.The house keepers are helpful and so friendly. I had a nice conversation with the kind manager about how much I appreciated the special touches that the place offers, such as, a very nice continental breakfast from 6am till 10am. They have something for everyone. I was impressed with them even offering plant based sausage. Which tasted quite good. The dining room is clean and well organized. They even have filled salt and pepper shakers neatly placed on every table. I know to some, this might not be a big deal, but to me, it was the little touches, like this, the attention to detail, that shows me this is a quality hotel. The pool was amazing. The water crystal clear and a perfect temperature. It was so relaxing. They had clean pool towels, noodles for floating, and even a handicap lift chair next to the pool for anyone with mobility issues. I liked the gym. Very nice gym equipment. I appreciated their good variety of vending options, a clean and full ice maker, which we used a lot. I love that they have recycling bins, a water cooler for good drinking water, a work area in the lobby for anyone needing to work or surf the web. They even write down the weather for the day on a white out board and some restaurant recommendations. I enjoyed the free WiFi that was speedy and easy to hook to. Most importantly, they welcomed, my fur baby.

It was in a great central area for what we were doing. Very nice, staff were great.

Very clean and well maintained hotel. It is not a big hotel but the quality is top notch. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great and they even have bread slices packed in lunch bags for guests to take for the road trip. So considerate!

Staff was polite and friendly. Breakfast was good and dining area clean. Rooms were nice and comfortable. Would stay here again.

This was THE BEST stay we have had in years! Staff is amazing, rooms top notch! Everything about the stay was top notch!!
