Best Western Plus Traverse City

Always liked staying there while in TC!

My husband and I had an excellent stay. The breakfast was great. They had the friendliest and most helpful staff of any hotel I have been to. I absolutely loved the latte/cappuccino machine by the front desk and it was available 24/7 and made good lattes for an instant machine. I wish all hotels had this machine. The pool was open 24/7 which is very nice for adults trying to have a swim without kids jumping around and screaming. It was conveniently located to the attractions we wanted to go to. Our bed was comfortable, our room was very nice, and we really liked having a refrigerator and microwave in our room.

Review looked bright and spacious, instead was dark and small, small window, small desk, small sink. Not much room at sink, then there’s a door with toilet and shower, back half of shower has no door or curtain, water from shower goes out on floor in front of toilet. CAUTION getting out of shower to slippery floor. Also CAUTION, opening door from toilet, shower room will hit feet of spouse at the sink. Everything is tight quarters, felt like we were in a camper. Better room for a single not couples get away.

We arrived early and they let us check in. The hot breakfasts were very good. The staff was very friendly. There are fresh, warm, chocolate chip cookies every night at 6 PM.

It was a great loft setup for my daughter to have her own Privacy.

The parking lot

The location was great. The staff was friendly, always available, and fulfilled our requests. The room layout was great for our family. The breakfast was very good and not too busy. Also liked that it was from 6 to 10. Parking was very close to our rooms, so no long walks. Coffee, hot chocolate and other hot drinks always available.

I don't like hotels with pets in them. This place is pet friendly, which is fine if you don't mind dogs around and probably in your room before you stayed. Had a couple of times when occupants with their dogs were blocking the hallways. Also, dog owners were taking their wet dogs into the hotel after walks in the wet grass. There was a wet dog smell in a few areas of the hotel. I find this offensive and inconsiderate to other guests.
