We knew we had found a great place to stay when we were greeted by Carrie and a basket of freshly made chocolate chip cookies. After driving for 11 hours straight, when we arrived we were very hungry but most of the nearby restaurants were closed. Carrie was wonderful about helping us get something to eat. We were in town for the marathon, and the restaurant opened early at 5 am to accommodate the marathon runners, which was very thoughtful. Breakfast had so many choices from waffles with a variety of toppings - cinnamon apples, cherries, whipped cream, nuts, as well as scrambled eggs with shredded cheddar and salsa, sausage, bacon, hash browns, pastries, fresh fruit, cereal and a coffee machine with a variety of flavors and hot chocolate. Who could ask for anything more? Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a great location with a wonderful staff. Roxanne was working the front desk on Sunday and she helped us find a Catholic Church nearby. She was such a pleasant and helpful person, always cheerfully greeting everyone that came in. I would highly recommend this hotel, and would certainly stay here again.

Nice spacious loft room

We stayed here three nights in 2022, and in May of 2025 we revisited and stayed here two nights. We were travelling with our dog both times, and this is an excellent place to stay when accompanied by your dog. Our room was nice, clean, and well appointed, but not large, with two queen beds. The staff and breakfast were excellent, as they had been before. There was some aging noted - the grout line between the bathroom tile and the tub needed some molding to cover the grime of the point where they met, and our door would not always latch tight behind us, which we informed the staff about when we checked out. All in all, another great experience in Traverse City.

What a great hotel. Every other BW should check out the beds in this place. They were the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in in a chain hotel. The hotel was super clean and everyone was super nice. The breakfast was typical chain but we will give them extra credit because they posted a sign listing everything that was gluten free and had some specific gluten free items like Udi's gluten free bagels. They also offered plant based sausage patties for vegans. If you want a good night sleep. Stay here.
