The Mustard Tree

Mark and Anna are excellent hosts, they are focussed on giving their guests the best possible experience, and are prepared to go the extra mile to achieve this. We have no hesitation in recommending The Mustard Tree and will definitely stay with them again when we next visit the St Ives area.

The innkeeper is an excellent resource for information about the local area and all of England! The breakfast was delicious and we left in the morning well prepared for our adventures - good night's sleep, great breakfast, and lots of ideas.

The place is amazing. Great location, a delicious breakfast (with fresh local food and ingredients) and a lovely staff (Mark is a great host and will do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible).

My stay at the Mustard Tree was excellent and well suited to my interests for my visit to Cornwall. The inn is cozy and in a quiet, Carbis Bay neighborhood. My interests were in taking long walks to admire the seacoast and landscape, to learn about the art and history of the region, and to have some lovely conversations with other travelers and local citizens.

Excellent experience with exceptionally friendly and helpful hosts, who met us at the railway station. When we requested sandwiches one afternoon, they were provided free of charge.

Great location, beautiful views of the beach and mark was a fantastic host with a breakfast that rivals the Ugly Butterfly Thanks again Mark & Anna and look forward to returning in the not too distant future!

Prices in St. Ives are off the scale while parking is also tough so it made sense to stay just along the coast in Carbis Bay. The Mustard Tree is a great option and the highlight of our trip was being able to take the Southwest Coast Path of a cold winter’s morning along the coast and into the spectacular seaside town. Mark as host could not have been more helpful, the breakfast was good and the whole place spotless. There is also the option of a short train journey into St. Ives.

Beautiful room with a great view. Run by very friendly people who even go out of their way to pick you up from the train station . I would recommend staying here to everyone.

A lovely B&B with great accommodation and a warm, welcoming and extremely helpful host! My room was clean, spacious and well appointed, with a comfortable bed and a good shower. Mark was very helpful with lots of suggestions about places to visit, and restaurants to eat in. He was kind enough to offer a lift to the station on the way out. The breakfast was excellent - the produce used was all local, and of very good quality. Highly recommended!
