Americas Best Value Inn Grenada

When we first arrived at this motel the clerk was very crabby. After my wife talked to her a while she got better. The morning clerk was very happy and positive. My wife smiled at one of the housekeepers and she gave her a look that said "I hope you die soon!" The breakfast was pick one. One egg bacon OR sausage. OR biscuit and gravy. Or pancake and bacon OR sausage. Milk and juice are extra. The coupon said "eggs, bacon, sausage, and biscuits and grits" not pick one. There was no working smoke alarm. The tv remote did not control the on and off, or the volume. There were cigarette burn holes in the sheets. Would not recommend this place to anyone. The motel was cheaper then most others around there, but it is no reason for the help to treat you like crap! We could put up with the room, but not being treated badly.

We stayed at Americas Best Value Inn in Grenada with 2 of our family members on our way to Florida. There were couple of hotels wanted to charge close to 100 bucks for just few hours of sleep. So we choose this hotel we paid less than half and get Free Hot breakfast at restaurant on premises. Kids loved its pool and big picnic area. Rooms were nice and clean. Its not new hotel, but I do not like to spend fortune for few hours of sleep. Overall great stay at very low price.

RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN as far away from this nasty and disgusting place as you can. We had dead bugs at LEAST the length of your thumb on a normal adult size hand all over the floor, feces on the blankets and not even 2 pillows on the beds....at least in room 108. We walked in and within 15 seconds, we decided we were getting our money back. We were so so tired from traveling, but I'd rather sleep in my car over this place. We went down the road to the Econo Lodge and were advised it was his brother's hotel and he didn't care about it. We let that guy know whoever owns America's Best Value Inn needs to go out of business as they SUCK at this career. NEVER again will I go to this place and I want to warn EVERYBODY to stay away from it. UGHHHH, so so sickening and scary.

Not too bad for a place to sleep for 6 hours and a decent breakfast. However I would never stay here alone. It's was a bit creepy and the rooms and restaurant was extremely Outdated. The double beds were very uncomfortable and the pillows flat. The price was ok but could have been a little cheaper for the condition of the room. We didn't experience any critters like other posters but I would never stay here again and don't recommend it for families.

You can't run away fast enough from here! Plug-ins not attached to the walls, nasty mattresses, walls peeling, dirty towels, our door wouldn't even shut. I have nothing nice to say. They don't even bother asking because they know it's a dump. I will be sending this in to have them inspected.

Mold growing on walls, dirty towels, sink falling off wall, and MICE!! Waking to find a mouse eating you snacks and mouse poop in your bed is the things a horror movie is made of!!! Talked to the clerk on duty and found out he could do nothing, we would have to call the manager the next day. We have tried repeatedly to contact him and he will not talk to us.
