Americas Best Value Inn Grenada

Door wasn't locked when arrived to room. She's were messed up, pillows were flat, stained and old. Towel rack was gone, tub had been painted, some alarm was missing, wallpaper falling off walls

It was great....

Dirty. Hair and on shower wall. Dirty floor. Mattress lumpy. Needs update bad.

Horrible experience...Will never stay here again! Nasty and felt very unsafe. Check in clerk was very rude and unprofessional!

Being honest, the reviews for this hotel were not so good, but are very wrong, which is what made me write this. This hotel is not as bad as some have made it out to be. Not perfect but decent, clean, comfortable, and affordable. The only thing I had a problem with was the WiFi connectivity. Our room was upstairs at the opposite end of the hotel from the office and had no reception; however, we had friends that stayed upstairs close to the office, and while in their room the WiFi signal was excellent. The breakfast was worth paying for even though it came with the room, and the service was great. The room was freshly painted, had a flat-screen tv (not the old model in the pics), and the microwave and fridge were cleaned and worked fine. It is also close to stores but situated off the frontage road on a hill, which makes for a quiet area. For the amount, you can't beat it. I visit Grenada at least twice a year, so I will be returning.

It sucked bad the rooms were nasty it stunk and the property was completely trashed

We were traveling late and got tired , so I found this hotel online and booked the room. We weren't needing lots of extras just a place to sleep. The pictures online definitely aren't what the place looks like now. The night clerk was very crabby and unfriendly. She said that they didn't have the king bed that we booked. Only 2 full size beds. We were tired so we took it. The room smelled old and wierd. Everything was very out dated. We were pretty sure that we heard mice in the walls. It was so hard to fall asleep because the parking lot was very noisy, almost like possible drug deals or gangs. I kept worrying that our door would be busted down in the middle of the night. The tub was old enough that they had painted it. I have never seen someone paint a tub. The drain was all covered in mildew. I was seriously afraid to unzip my suitcase for fear of bugs crawling in. On one positive note....the day clerk was alot friendlier then the night clerk. My advice, pay the extra and stay somewhere else.

The lady at the front desk was incredibly rude when asking for my ID, which basically ruined my whole out look on the stay. The wifi didn't work in our room which I'm assuming is because they decided that one router would work for the entire place. The shower heads were also made for people no more then about 5ft tall and our bathroom door didn't close unless you slammed it shut.

What you see in pics uploaded by management is NOT what you get. (Check out mine for a more accurate representation). What you will get: a dirty run down place, bugs in your room (cockroaches on your bed to be exact), one towel for a 2-double bed room, a bathtub so filthy that you wouldn't even bathe an animal in, a broken tv, a broken air conditioning unit, a broken toilet, no toilet paper roll (the tp was just sitting on the edge of the nasty tub), disgusting bed linens, and just overall FILTH! I wasn't expecting the Hyatt for $55. But I did expect a clean room, a comfortable place to sleep for a few hours, and a hot shower. This place will not provide any of those things. Move along, and do so quickly before you transport any of their bugs home with you.

checked in at 12:30 PM and out at 6:00 AM, $50.00 total. No credit card even asked for. Turned down 1 bed, Brown from dirt and sweat sheets, pillows taken out were stained , other was embroidered. Stains on bed top covers, footprints too. Mildew smell bad! I called Americas best value inn number today and was told this is not one of their motels, Also would not pass me to supervisor to stop them from using their name. Bugs in bathroom, tub had been patched and was slick . We showered and slept in car! Carper looked solid full of grime. TV would not even get full view of any channel
