Clarion Inn Falls Church-Arlington

There was no elevator.

It was very clean, the included breakfast was wonderful. Very happy it had a fridge!

There were some updates needed in the bathroom door. An elevator would have been very helpful.

The breakfast was great, the location was okay.

The beds are weird, they’re too high up off the ground and on a weird metal surface. The fridge didn’t work when we tried turning it on and ruined the food we put in there. It should just have a switch to turn on and off instead of a dial that’s on the back that no one can see. There should also be a lot more ramps instead of just stairs so people can roll their luggage. Outside and inside was nothing but stairs

Praticamente nulla, forse solo la colazione si salva ma era solamente accettabile.

Staff poco preparato e utile, non sapevano dirmi quanto ci voleva per andare in metro al centro di Washington DC. Noi abbiamo fatto check-in velocemente me nei due giorni in cui siamo stati c'erano sempre persone che attendevano e si lamentavano per fare check-in. La camera era incredibilmente umida, come non ho mai visto, nonostante il condizionatore in funzione 24h in modalità DRY il pavimento era BAGNATO! La posizione è lontanissima e in mezzo al nulla. Offrivano un servizio di navetta gratuita per la metro più vicina ma non si capiva la modalità di prenotazione (credo assente) e gli orari. Alla fine abbiamo preso un Uber...

Very friendly staff and they made sure we were closest to the lobby because of our walking issues.

There are no elevators so good to know for people who have wheelchairs.

Clarion Inn is definitely dated and feels like a motel. However, it met my needs and the room was comfortable although it did have a funky old motel smell. That being said, it was clean. I liked the non-carpeted floors (who wants to walk around on stained, smelly old carpet?) The shower worked and the bed was really supportive and comfortable. The room lighting was really good with various lamps and built-ins. Breakfast was perfectly acceptable. While I was there only one night, it was very quiet but I could tell the room doors could be loud with people who don't hold them when closing.

Beyond changing at this point, but it is on a busy 4+ lane highway. The hotel is definitely dated and I could live with that. I didn't care for the funky room odor, but it got better. Either dissipated or I got used to it.
