We had a great few days at Santa Fe and would definitely return. All the staff were helpful and friendly but especially in the restaurant. The room was a good size and the daily cleaning was thorough. The poolside and terraces are nicely landscaped and well maintained The building is traditional style which has its own charm. That said, the interiors need some updating, nothing dramatic but some fixtures and fittings are rather tired. This raises some problems because the refurbishmeet works which are on-going are noisy. We would ask the hotel about this before booking again. Apart from these issues, there is a great deal to like at Sante Fe.

One of the best features was the size of the room, which was very large. We also liked the terrace and pool area, which had a great view of the ocean and was a great place to watch sunsets. We appreciated that they had an "adults only" pool. The beach right in front of the hotel was too rough for swimming comfortably, but we could walk 10 minutes north along the beach to find good swimming areas with beach chairs and umbrellas for 200 pesos for the day. The hotel's location was in the quiet part of town, but close to several good restaurants.

The pools were lovely with nicely kept plants and grounds. The reatraunt was awesome every time we went. We had nachos and the cheese on them was superb. For dinner I had Chiles replenish, never had before and it was a great meal. Big portion. Nice and close to the beach and you can see the sunset from the restraunt.

The beds were rocks.
