"Lovely hotel"

It is a lovely and welcoming hotel, and the staff are friendly and professional. Lovely dining options and a delicious breakfast.

We stayed in the Gatehouse and felt like we needed a fridge in the room. Also, the temperature on the shower did not adjust.

"Well above expectations for a business stay just missing one or two touches for a luxury treat"

Lovely big, room, beautifully decorated with a great bathroom and a really comfortable bed. There was a patio with evening sun although this did overlook the car park. The walled garden area was beautiful, the staff were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was tasty with plenty of choice and quickly replenished.

The gardens in front of the patio haven't been landscaped yet so it was a bit open to the car park and road but hopefully this will change. While the breakfast was lovely, it would have been nicer to be able to eat outside in the garden area but this was not an option and the room felt dark on a lovely morning. There was no jacuzzi in the pool area which we would have liked, also the bar only offered lager and no beers but the pub across the road is great.

Hotel looked good and great facilities. Rooms are spacious and the grounds look fab.

There is an additional £10 per person to use the gym and pool. This is the first time I've had to pay extra for these services. Normally part of the price. Also the evening meal was great but the breakfast wasn't so good. Sausages and bacon not cooked etc

Property good easy to find, hotel staff efficient, helpful and friendly

Nothing about the property. The service for evening meal was dreadful. Wrong food delivered, wrong coffee delivered and bill was incorrect
