Fantastic last minute stay at Barton Manor. Wasn't able to get away on my actual 60th birthday due to work commitments and as hubby had a hospital appointment on the Saturday at Preston hospital we decided to make a night of it. Great choice. Lovely hotel. Great bedroom, spacious and comfy. Leisure facilities are great. Food was amazing. Already planning our next stay to include some treatments in the spa. All of the staff were smiling and helpful. Just wish we'd found it sooner

People leaving their stuff on the heated loungers even though there are notices saying not to.

We booked for standard double room. And ended up getting a gate house room sitting right next to the big road inside another suite. We can heard all night the road, the cars, and all the noise made by our next door neighbours. No privacy at all. Very small room too. No value for almost 150 pound per night in the middle of nowhere

The hotel decor is just lovely. Always clean and lots of place to sit and relax. Also loved the milk fridge idea so good.

"Disappointed with the hotel room the spa was amazing up"

The food was delicious a good selection and very tasty , the staff where very helpful too

The view from our hotel room was disappointing spoke to a member of staff who said they would sorted it for us. Waitied over 1 hr before I complained again got move to a slighter better view bust was so disappointed as this was for a 25th wedding anniversary suprise .

"Pleasent"

Location and facilities

I stayed for 2 night and when I returns after night 1 I thought fresh bedding was put on. But when I pulled the sheets back all they had down is turn the duvet round has same stains where there. Not what you expect for a 4 star hotel
