The Mitre Inn

The Mitre is an excellent place to stay. The staff were lovely. The apartment was very clean and presentable. Thanks you

● The nearest long stay carpark is 15 a minute walk. The pub does have the land to create parking spaces, which would be a nice touch. ● Be prepared if you are staying over on a Saturday night. The church bells will ring and ring, not really the alarm clock I wanted.

Great location. Very clean, quiet and comfortable with friendly staff. Nice room. Close to the railway station and easy walking access to the town, Mother Shipman's cave and riverside walks.

Street parking is free with hotel disc but best to arrive outside peak hours to get a place.

Evening food had changed from what we had seen online to Korean so we cancelled our booking and had to go elsewhere

Staff are lovely and location is spot on. We had the self catering room, which was very comfy and had a bath 💕

With self catering and a kitchen it was just lacking a kitchen table and chairs to eat ( coffee table and couch was not to suitable ) only 1 pan and 1 frying pan too but kuckily we brought our own. 🍳🍳
