The Mitre Inn

The room was very nice and clean, quite night with good staff etc.

Not a lot really the room was very warm for us even with the heating off and the windows open. We did see the fan but that was in the morning 😒😂. nothing else to mention, it was very nice stay!

Clean, tidy and friendly thanks

The room was well equipped, tea/coffee, clean and comfortable and staff especially helpful, we arrived early and being a pub wasn’t open but quick ring and staff came out and we left our bags. Also looked after our bags after vacation time till our train, which allowed us to go and have breakfast.

Nothing, the trains didn’t run overnight so slept well. We knew it didn’t do breakfast but wasn’t a problem plenty lovely little cafes just up road,

Room was spotless, modern and comfortable. Staff were also extremely helpful. Our cockerpoo.dog enjoyed the stop.

No parking full stop on site, if you are not fortunate enough to grab one of the few council parking slots on station road leading down to the Mitre Inn, the nearest parking area is in the Worlds End Car park by the river, which would make an almost climb with bags up the significant hills to reach the Mite Inn. Even if you do manage to find a parking slot in Station Road you need a "token" which hopefully the Mitre Inn will give you, but it only lasts 2 hrs and officially you can't return for one hour. Council Traffic Wardens frequently patrolling giving tickets. Food in Mitre is all Asian Street Food. No breakfast available local cafes do offer breakfast but don't open until 9:30, check out from the Mitre is 10:00. We ended up getting yoghurt, fruit & instant porridge from Tesco Extra on High Street, which was fine. Lovely accommodation, but parking is a pain

The one bedroom apartment was very clean and spacious. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about other facilities in the town.

Maybe breakfast would be a good offer but the staff recommended somewhere to eat.,
