Hotel Scala Frankfurt City

I spent 3 night in a small single,en suite room located on the top floor.The room was clean,made every day and there was a small balcony with a nice view of Frankfurt. A complimentary bottle of water on my arrival,left lugguage service and 24hs reception. Last but not least,this hotel is located just behind The zeil soit s just in the heart of the city. I warmly recommend it.

Very clean and comfortable hotel close to public transport links and near food and drink too. Overall I was very pleased with this hotel, it's not large and benefits from this as you don't feel crammed in at breakfast with lots of other guests. The only negative for me is the bathroom was a bit small, it's not tiny and impractical by any means but just felt like it needed just a bit more space. If I return to Frankfurt I would definitely stay here again.

Great location and great view from the 9th floor room.

Clean room, GREAT BATHROOM, hot shower, and a super breakfast. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Close to everything, restaurants, shopping and the train station. If you are coming to Frankfurt, stay here!!!

Me and Becky stayed here for a night and although clean and comfortable was not a room you could spend too long in. Positives It is positioned close to the Zeil The beds were comfy Reception staff friendly Negatives No tea/coffee making facilities Lots of noise both inside and outside through the night Bottles of water really expensive/ did not know if bathroom was drinking water. This is a cheap and cheerful hotel so bring refreshments. Breakfast is €14 per person so we decided to have that meal elsewhere

Very pleasant stay for our annual stay during the heimtex fair

Arrived tired in the early evening and was greeted by warm friendly efficient staff. Room was cosy and very neat with welcoming Haribo gummies on the bed. Might seem unimportant but they helped me get some strength back after a harrowing day wasted because of substantial flight delays. Shower was lovely, clean and roomy compared with others. Window could be opened for fresh air. Warm doonas and perfect pillows. Were directed to fabulous pub around the corner- with great atmosphere, authentic goulash soup and great beer - the 12 Apostles. Then had to leave next day so never got to see other surrounds. Very sad to leave as this short stay at this hotel was just wonderful.

The receptionists were fast and professional, enabling a quick check in / out. There is quite a high noise level, coming from the casino nearby, affecting the rooms on the northern side of the hotel. Everything was well-cleaned and tidy, but the mattress is kind of hard to sleep on. In general, I would recommend the hotel for short visits in Frankfurt. Everything within the City is in walking distance from it, and it offers a fairvalue for the price.
