Ramkota Hotel

Mixed review. The hotel was super nice and updated. The room was what you wanted. Two double beds. Spent several evenings at the bar. Good food and drinks. The bad: over the weekend the rooms were not made up. After 2 days of this, I called the front desk and they told me me “they don't offer that service”. I heard several people discussing the same issue. Everyone needed towels, washcloths, coffee, etc…. Then when it came to checkout I was surprised with the bill. When I made my reservations, I asked for a military or sportsman discount. I was told that it would be $140 a night. When I got the the bill, they charged me $169 for two nights and $189 for the third night plus an extra $20 a night for various taxes. When I told them about making the reservations weeks before for $140, they said they didn’t know who told me that and that was the sportsman discount and that is what I would pay. I can get online right now and make reservations for $108 a night. Check it out. So it appears to me the hotel scammed me out of more than a hundred dollars. So beware if you stay here. Make sure you ask them at check-in what your rate is going to be. Feel duped. But just think of this. They charge you $200 a night and don’t off cleaning services over the weekend? Ridiculous!!

The bathroom floor was not clean, dirt and dust on the floor and a build up of dust and sand in the corners of the bath room. The sink had hair in and was not clean. The carpet had not been vacuumed and was dirty. The thing I liked was the bed was very clean.

Love the new updates they are doing at the property. Bed was very comfortable

First room the faucet broke and wouldn’t stop running . Second room was not clean . The seats were stained . Gross . Didn’t even stay the second night I left but still pad for room. Recent remodel done and still was not a nice place

Enjoyed my one night stay, room was nice, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was very good.

Great place and room but be warned the hallway is very loud if anyone is in there

We love the restaurant, pool, and hot tub. Clean, quiet, lovely spaces.

I stayed for two nights. The room was clean and spacious and had two full size beds although I’d suspect they advertise them as queen size (they definitely are not). The hotel is large and my room was located in the back. So after checking in, I had to drive to the back lot. It was a bit “shady” in appearance for a single woman and I’d have preferred being able to walk through the hotel to my room but the maze of halls was daunting. The bar/restaurant is convenient but closes at 10:00.

Pool had major dirt piles in it and hot tub had a weird smell.
