It was close to where I wanted to be

I paid for a deluxe room . It was far from deluxe . The room smelt of mould and had no extras at all. It was shocking . Markus all over the walls . Old looking table , not even a coffee machine , crappy pillows . I won’t be staying again. No aircon it was 33 degrees in room. Had to beg for a fan . Won’t be staying here again awful room

Comfortable bed, good breakfast

Bedroom was very tired, needs redecorating, 3 large burns in carpet, side table and mirror with not cleaned, layer of dust around skirting board, Tiny bottles of shower gel, shampoo etc, no glasses or even plastic cups in the bedrooms

Entrance way/reception area was stunning. Also Liked that the property was so big, literally like a little village

Service was terrible! Was seated for food at 7:50pm, took over 30 minutes to take our orders and we didn’t leave until after 10pm due to poor service and not quick turn arounds with food. We had to keep checking in to see where our next course was, had to remind them that we asked for cutlery and sauces twice!

The restaurant and the spa were real highlights for us, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The option of having a later check-out was handy, and the duckpond is lovely.

The layout of the room could've been improved - the position of the TV meant that some of the wires were hanging in there. Perhaps wall mounted TVs would have suited the standard hotel rooms better.

Staff very nice. Nice gym. Food not so good.
