Very tired although bathroom was recently renovated

The room ,staff, facilities ,breakfast were all top notch ! Great welcoming staff couldn't do enough,rooms beautifully clean,children were thrilled with joining room instead of all being crammed in the same room, pool facilities wonderful again staff there are outstanding. I wish there was a fan in room as weather was particularly hot on our stay. over all I would 100% recommend to all I will definitely stay again.

I wish there was fan in room. Unfortunately old buildings you can't open window wide so this is not an issue for us as we fully understand stafy regulations. But room was very warm. And we did not go down to see if one could be provided so not really a complaint .

Must praise the food available in both the bar and dining room where the staff were very pleasant as were the receptionists. Rooms were clean and well serviced.

The hotel has become shabby and in need of renovation. Bathroom plumbing was not reliable. No instructions for shower operation and no indication of where to find the razer socket. Health and Safety compliance is lacking.

Gym and swimming pool

Great Amenities, Miserable Room Comfort I wanted to love this stay, but the room comfort was so poor I wouldn’t return. The Bad: The Heat: The room was an absolute sauna with zero ventilation (windows barely open). The small table fan provided by staff did nothing. It was a sleepless night. The Bathroom: The shower felt 80 years old with a weak, sputtering flow. Outlets: Only two electric sockets in the entire room, which is highly inconvenient today. Property: There was a terrible, foul smell lingering throughout the parking lot. The Good: Amenities & Food: The well-maintained gym and swimming pool were a great escape from the hot room, and the food was surprisingly delicious. Verdict: Great food and leisure, but the hotel desperately needs to upgrade its rooms and plumbing.

each time our meal at spencers has been spoilt by a large group of very noisy men , a good maitre would have asked them to tone it down , inability to put a gratuity on the card short changes the good staff in spencers , the breakfast coffee machine should include a decaff option

Great staff, spotlessly clean, loved the spa and pool. Good parking.

Brasserie lacking atmosphere as it was very quiet when we visited. Restaurant was better. Limited menu which was not to my personal preferences however it was very well cooked and presented.
