Property was pretty clean but all of the bedding and fixtures were old and musty. It is an older property that needs a fresh update. Also the motorcycles in the area were noisy. TV was worst I’ve ever had in a hotel.

"Won’t stay next time"

We stayed here while visiting our grandson at Texas State, but we won’t stay here again. The room had totally worn out chairs that were peeling, and we didn’t even want to sit on them. I couldn’t take a bath, because the rubber ring around the plug was moldy. I checked and I could scrape it off with my fingernail. It’s next to a freeway, so it’s noisy. The staff was nice, and there was plenty for breakfast. There’s too many other options to stay here on our next visit.

"Best stay for the price"

This hotel is always clean and comfortable and includes a continental breakfast and a pool for the warm months. The cable tv and internet both worked well. This within one to two miles of downtown and easy access to restaurant row along I-35. Have never had any issues and will stay here again when in San Marcos.

"Quiet Comfort"

We were a little concerned staying close to the freeway, but it was quiet and very comfortable. We slept great, and I. The morning enjoyed a good breakfast. The check in was very pleasant and we were recognized as Diamond members. The morning staff was upbeat and very welcoming, too.
