Casablanca Inn

Great place if you are a high school kid and want to party with impunity. The idea was to have a relaxing couple of days and nights in San Clemente. We checked in and all was good. The noise started around 9 and didn’t stop. First night we complained and the front desk shut down the party. The following morning we had the continental breakfast. Not sure what it was, but it wasn’t breakfast. Ended up going elsewhere. The second night more parties. The front desk refused to do anything. It got louder. We called again. Nothing. My husband went to the front desk and they informed me that they ”couldn’t” do anything about it, and “couldn’t call the police”. Being a retired cop, he found that amusing. At 2 am they ended up moving us to another room for the night. We will not be staying there again. Too many better places and less expensive.

We love the location of this property and hadn't stayed here since it changed ownership from a Best Western. We wanted to stay in the same room type we always had before but made a mistake when booking. The room we had been assigned was not the room type we intended but the general manager, Gene Kim, was gracious and worked with us to get into the correct room type. We enjoyed our stay!

Loved our stay at this cute motel! Staff, rooms, pool, breakfast, everything was perfect! We will definitely come back anytime we are down south! Especially loved the court yard with fountain and the pool and the gym looking out onto the ocean.

Flexible and accommodating staff went out of their way to help me, in spite of an apparent computer error that made my booking.com reservation end up overbooked. Kind people getting creative through a difficult situation and I'm grateful! Beautiful location and a pretty resourceful and diverse breakfast for a place without a full kitchen.

The Casablanca Inn is a wonderful independent hotel in the heart of San Clemente. It has a bunch of unique features that a typical chain hotel does not, which I appreciated very much. Parking was free and the breakfast, prepared by a very nice lady, was great. I really loved my stay here!

The Internet is very slow.
