Best Western Plus Dixon Davis

Nice stay for business/leisure.

Good location, big and clean rooms.

The swimming pool wasn’t very clean.

We travel from the central coast to Oregon several times a year a normally break up the trip with a stay north of the SF Bay Area. We tried for Williams last time but had a truly horrible stay at the Ramada inn there (turns out a lot of hotel brands are now owned by big hotel groups who sell brand names but don’t have any quality control, so don’t discount old reviews under different hotel brands as shady hotel owners try to lose old negative reviews by changing names. Ramada is part of the Wyndham group and they will sell their brand names to anyone with absolutely no control on quality or services. Best Westerns, I think, may still be individually owned, but quality control still seems to mean something to them! This property overall was well maintained. We were there just overnight so didn’t get to try out all of the amenities, but the internet & all bathroom facilities worked. The workout room was available for an early work out & everyone was pleasant & professional (huge upgrade from Ramada Inn where a non functioning shower & bathroom fan, unusable internet & snarly employees — the manager was the worst!— are considered acceptable. If traveling thru that area, pick the BW+ in Dixon!

The bathroom floor was clean

It looked beautiful, looks can be deceiving 😩 Almost fell in bathtub 3 times because tub floor is dangerously wobbly, the glad Jacuzzi was yellow, and I was hoping it was just the lighting however, once we got in the urine smell was so horrendous, It was ridiculous. Shame on them for not maintenance it with enough chlorine to take care of the lazy people that decided to piss in the Jacuzzi I had to stand over the toilet, holding the handle to make sure the toilet flushed each time I used it. The bed was so firm. It was only made for people that like a firm bed the pillows were horribly stiff when you go to a motel, such as that, you expect the bed and pillows at least to be comfortable. I had to wash my feet every time I went walking through the room because the floor was so filthy that my feet instantly turned black because I forgot my house slippers at home. They should at least shampoo the carpets once a year. It doesn’t look like they were ever shampooed.

It was exceptional! Staff checking in room was clean and very welcoming! Bed was very comfortable! Best night sleep and breakfast was great!
