Check in was quick. Staff had everything ready for us including key cards ready.

Clean hotel and comfy beds. They even have a few slot machines.

Wonderful stay ! Breakfast fine for what we needed , all looked good! Staff was great ! Approximately 30 mins walk to Ferry port on route to Halifax , very convenient!!

It smelled like pee and smoke. Room was stuffy, as soon as I saw a fan plugged into the room, I knew we were screwed. No air condition and the fan had no wind pressure, it was terrible. The shower, dear lord, nope. I felt dirtier coming out! Super small, curtain stuck to you so you're somewhat forced to be up against the shower wall...gross. No where to put your shamppo etc so just deal with a wet bathroom floor lol.

This is a very cute property. Walking in, you notice the charm of old world furnishings and a very clean lobby, which gives comfort right off. Clara the front desk manager was very welcoming. We arrived earlier than the room was ready and she directed us to a close by area that we could shop, eat, unwind until the rooms were ready. The rooms were very clean, beds comfortable, clean bathroom, most importantly. I had a Marilyn Monroe room, lots of great pictures, view at the front of the building is ok, but across the way you get a very nice view of a Bay. Windows are very old, and need a good cleaning and replacing. I was hoping to be able to open them to get some fresh air in September but they don't open. When they replace the windows, I hope they give consideration to the type that can open at the top and let some fresh air in. This little hidden gem, had wonder front desk staff. always polite and helpful. They also have a small restaurant/bar which is open daily but the restaurant only opens Friday, Saturday and Sundays. The breakfasts were very good and affordable, not overpriced like some places. Wings were great too....but bring your own blue cheese, its not something they serve with wings like they do in Ontario. So we kind of missed our blue cheese and celery side dish....but it really was a good little restaurant with great staff and a very good cook. No issues there. They have parking as well and I would stay there again.
