"For one night it the perfect place. "

For one night before flying out was fine. Hotel is in new carpet and paint. A little dirty in first room but changes rooms due to needing to use the elevator. Second room was much cleaner. The bed was hard but most hotels are and No bed is as comfy as your own so to be expected. The service was superb and taxi waiting at correct time so that was good. Breakfast box waiting and that was great.

"Wrong information causes stress"

On arrival, bucket in foyer to catch rain. Bed desperately needs new mattress in room 323 as it dips in the middle. We stayed Friday night and were told breakfast started at 7am - when we got down for breakfast at 7.20 the waiting staff told us breakfast starts at 8. Not great when we had planned to meet family at 8.15 to go on a long journey! Waiting staff were wonderful and did everything possible to ensure we had breakfast but it was not a great start to a very long day.

"Good service in restaurant but room was dirty"

We had a family room which in fact was 2 rooms together one which was well maintained with a bed and one a bit tatty with a sofa bed. The sofa bed was not made up so I tried to pull it out and it was covered in thick dust which was offputting so myself and my two children slept in the double in the other room. Apart from this the sofa bed room had a door which led to another corridor and unexpectedly the cleaning team entered and then said they did not realise anyone was in the room, they then proceeded to push their trolley through our rooms as it was the only way to get from one corridor to another. So I guess this is not used often as a family room. The restaurant was good and the service there was great.

"Disappointing "

"Fab visit"

"Really not great at all"

Smelly communal areas and room, quite dilapidated, very hot in the room, bath water run red with rust, stains on the ceiling, dinner over priced and not well cooked. Shame.

Seemed lovely from the outside, and the staff in reception and the bar were very pleasant and efficient. I'm fairly easily pleased with most hotels, but sadly, this one was lacking. I wasn't best pleased to be charged £5 for parking overnight on arrival, as I was staying for a wedding, not the airport. I n the bedroom corridors, the walls and doors were scratched and in disrepair. The bedroom was lovely as we arrived, but was spoiled by flaking paintwork on the frames, cup stains and a dead insect on the windowsill, and dirty net curtains. The window was open, clearly because of the high temperature in the room, as in the corridors of the hotel, with no air con, just an air ioniser, which was broken at the front and blew out limited air, which didn't really help at all. As we left the room for the wedding, we were sweating profusely, and it was actually rainstorming outside, so was unsure why the inside was so warm. We asked at the front desk for a fan, but none was available so we asked if one could be left outside our room for later, which wasn't there on our return! We had a running joke with the other guests at the wedding staying here about how hot the rooms were. Fortunately, the bride and groom were swapped to an air conditioned room for their wedding night. A s we were off to the wedding, we asked at the bar if they could manage chips quickly as a snack, but the kitchen forgot our order. Very disappointed. The rooms need upgrading, but the staff were kind.

"Hallmark review"

Very horrible damp smell in bedroom. Staff didnt seem very interested in the guest. Generally hotel looks very tired and needs a facelift. Breakfast was good value
