Manchester Airport Stanley Hotel by Belvilla

Rooms where 36 degrees and all they gave you was 2 fans. We asked to be moved to a lower floor and they said “every room is that warm”. DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU WANT SLEEP

We have stayed before flying on three occasions. Value for money excellent and the bar and staff are great. The room did not smell clean however & the bathroom had certainly been cleaned with a dirty cloth as it smelt of urine until the door had been open for an hour and the surface wiped down with damp tissue

The bed we stayed in was broken so I now have a stiff neck

Well located close to Manchester Airport. No fuss hotel with open pleasant public areas and sensibly priced meal options. Good buffet breakfast and ample parking

On top floor, no air con so very warm. Arrived after a late flight so had no time to sort it out.

Spent all afternoon in the leisure complex, was very relaxing, steam room not available but still had pool, sauna and jacuzzi

The property was in a good location for taxi to airport and had pleasant rural surroundings including iconic pub and park like area. The pool and spa were accessible and the food was delicious.

The staff are all excellent, especially Simone who shared her local knowledge to such an extent that our stay was made extremely easy to commute

Reception was pleasant and friendly, the room was dated with paint hanging off the walls. The Bathroom was very small. Early morning fire alarm went off. Building work going on outside of room 311.

The room wasn’t clean, with hairs all over the bed and bathroom. The condition of the room wasn’t great either, it looked old and had lots of cracks. It said toiletries were included so I would expect conditioner and moisturiser to be included in that but they weren’t
