The Griffin Inn

Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij. Wij zin naar Wales gereisd voor een hondenshow. De kamers grenzen aan een binnentuin waar de honden helaas niet welkom zijn, maar zo konden wij wel genieten van een biertje terwijl we via het raam een oog op de honden hadden.

Het zit aan een drukke weg. Hier heb je totaal geen last van in de kamers, maar je moet wel voorzichtig zijn als je de hond wilt uitlaten.

Charming old inn with clean modern bathrooms. All of the staff went out of their way to be friendly and welcoming. Good choice of meals and beautifully cooked.

Continental breakfast was excellent. The garden behind the building was a beautiful place to sit. The food was good and arrived quickly.

The food in the bar was really good.

The location; I feel we were misinformed by looking at the pictures on the website, the Griffin looked to be surrounded by greenery when in fact it is just a patch of grass. The actual inn is on the busy A470/479 road. At £130 a night with no breakfast we were expecting much more.
