The Griffin Inn

A very enjoyable stay. Clean and comfortable room, friendly staff and a good evening meal.

What a lovely place to stay. The staff greeted us and made us feel welcome straight away. The locals in the bar were also friendly. The room was very clean and we had everything we needed. It has a lovely garden area at the back. The food was excellent. We had a 3 course meal in the evening and a breakfast the following morning and everything we had was delicious and we complimented the chef. We would definitely stay here again.

There was nothing that we didn't like.

Great place to stay for walking. Great food, lovely people, and affordable.

Everyone was very welcoming and we had a lovely night at the pub.

All good, food excellent especially the steak.

Bathroom a little cleaner

Location was good for us. Bar staff were all pleasant and friendly. Parking was free and nearby. Sunday roast was exceptional! Bedroom was quaint. Beer garden was pleasant.

Breakfast was very disappointing. Didn’t like the beer garden tables being right outside our bedroom/bathroom windows. House ale wasn’t available all weekend.

Friendly welcome when we arrived, shown straight up to our rooms. Our table was ready if we wanted it earlier than booked. Enjoyed a lovely meal and very reasonable priced wine.
