Balmer Lawn

The staff were 5* the decor was 5* and the food was gorgeous and reasonably priced. The room was lovely. Shower nice and hot.

The pool was too cold. The toilet in the ladies chandinf room could do with a re-fresh. Room 53 was very cold we had to ask for the heating to be put on. Shower not very powerful. But these are just me being picky.

Lovely surroundings. Beautiful hotel.

Didn't realise every time we brought a drink /coffee at the bar we paid a service charge even though we went up to the bar to order and carried the drinks back ourselves to our table. Nothing was itemised!!

Spa was really lovely, facilities good and very clean. Breakfast was delicious, so much choice and good quality food.

Fire alarm went off during the middle of the night due to a fault in the server. No one came to apologise or tell us what was happening and no compensation for being woken up.

Not the standard expected by price , children not able to use pool, not very clean in some areas, room too small, items not always available at breakfast

Cleanliness Rooms more spacious

Very nice breakfast had everything you could want - excellent service - remembered my friend's drink

Noisy fridge - wished it was a proper minie bar with drinks & snacks

Room was well furnished and spotless. Dinner was good, good menu choices and my wife’s food allergies/intollerances were well catered for. Breakfast was good; plenty of choice and hot options were kept well supplied.

Not sure about dogs in a family hotel setting.

Lovely venue and staff food was good and facilities. Bed was the worst i have slept on in a hotel both me and my girlfriend did not feel refreshed and struggle to sleep on the bed and the room was far too hot needs aircon the building was very warm in general

Mattress and the heat in the room was far too much very uncomfortable sleep glad to be home In a nice bed
