Sure Hotel by Best Western Ambassador Duesseldorf

We had a double booking for this hotel on the same night. I booked the hotel and then also my clients secretary booked the hotel Both bookings were prepaid and non-refundable there was no mercy from the hotel - they accepted two bookings and two payments and refuse to refund one of the payments To me - this was a genuine case and they could see that two bookings had been made this cost me personally (as it was my mistake)

Internet was very bad.

Excellent - my only quibble is that it wasn't clear if breakfast was included in my rate or not.

Arrived at the end of a protest, so access was limited due to Police Vans etc.. Hotel isn't so bad, but the area around was a bit dirty/seedy (not helped by arriving at night). Very close to the station and comfortable for a sleepover and catching an early train the next morning.

Hotel basic but fairly priced and well located for the station. I was in room 612. Quite noisy with trams outside. The room was quite cold, and worse I was woken in the middle of the night by a constant dripping noise. After many minutes of thinking about it, I had to get up and tracked it down to the radiator - the only way to silence it was to turn it off - very cold room by the morning but I got some sleep at least. The staff were lovely.

The staff were ever so helpful, they could have done no more to make my stay enjoyable. The single room was small but OK, it did the job. There was always fresh coffee available in the lobby, a must for me in the mornings. Breakfast was good, lots to pick from. The real problem was parking, very little space at the back or trying to find parking on the street when arriving..

Because of the street cars noise and vibration I would consider probably another Best Western hotel when next time in Dusseldorf We have been many times at the Ambassador and find it a clean well managed hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. It is a pity, but we are sure that there are similar observations from other clients. Thank you for being good to us over the years.

Stayed for a week. Stayed on the front room for one night and it was terrible as 5 trams pass every hour. Then moved to back room for the rest of the week and there was almost no noise. Two of the receptionist were nice, the other two needs to find different carrier. The were rude. Location unsafe at night... rats in the opposite parking space!!! Their parking lot fit 6 cars only. They are smoking-free hotel, yet on expedia there is an option to request smoking room. The name of this is misleading.

the room only had 1 pillow and the breakfast was excellent. Parking is very difficult, there are only 4 spots within the hotel

I have stayed at this hotel several times. It is convenient to the Hauptbahnhof and provides good value for money.
