Sure Hotel by Best Western Ambassador Duesseldorf

Round the corner from the station. Perfectly neat and tidy. So, all I needed for a 1 night business trip.

I booked a stay at this hotel specifically with free breakfast. Unfortunately, when I checked in the clerk told me that I did not have free breakfast included in my reservation. In fact, she told me "There is no way to book free breakfast via the internet!!! You must buy it here on site!" Aside from being near the train station, there's really no reason to book this hotel. The staff wasnt really all that welcoming. The room is just ok.

I booked this hotel because it was very close to the train station. The hotel was ok, but my window was facing the street and i could hear trains, at night i realised that i easily hear my neighbour talking - so walls were not so good noise isolated, neighbourhood a bit not nice at evening, hotels near by from the train station where i stayed before (direction downtown) had a better surrounding.

The room may be small but it is very close to the train station which made it convenient for me. The elevator is very small but functional. WiFi was free but very week when available at all. Staff was friendly, room was clean and comfortable, this was everything that I needed and I would stay here again.

The desk staff was consistently unfriendly, disdainful and unhelpful. This was the most out-of-character Best Western hotel experience I have had in my many years of global traveling. Who, at corporate, is minding the store here???

The woman at the desk was excellent, friendly, and helpful. The location was perfect and so close to the Hauptbahnof, that I walked to it in 5 minutes. Great and fantastic restaurants and bakeries everywhere; even found a very close laundromat!

If there was better stable wifi.

This hotel has a great location near to the train station. It is a fair walk to the city centre but there are some nice restaurants there, which are worth the effort. This hotel doesn't have air con, which can make your stay in the summer quite toasty.

Hotel is located right next train track, which was not a problem with me, although my room was facing to the other side. Room wasn't that big, but still small desk to work with, fridge, TV, with basic channels and nice comfy bed. Excellent service upon arrival, receptionist had some good tips for a restaurants.

Close to central station, on a quiet side road. Wifi is ok, but disconnects a lot, but you can stream YouTube! Room is ok, no English channels. Staff are friendly in a fairly typical German way. Over all worth a stay for the right money! I only paid a low amount so I feel it was worth it and I enjoyed my one night stay. Even better if breakfast included.
