Sure Hotel by Best Western Ambassador Duesseldorf

Very clean and nice hotel but I could feel the subway all night long :(

This is a convenient hotel to spend the night if you are traveling and need to be close to the train station. It serves the purpose. About 300-400 meters away from the entrance to Dusseldorf main train station. Bed is comfortable, bathroom is clean enough. As most european hotels, everything is relatively small. No air conditioning and the night I spend was a little too warm. However, you can open the window. Because of the carpet (I believe) the room is a little smellie. WiFi signal in my room was weak and slow.

Nothing wrong with hotel - a basic tourist hotel for a nights stay. Unfortunately it is opposite a railway line and teams run outside the hotel. We stayed there during a summer heat wave. Coupled with a lack of air conditioning we were faced with a no-win choice - either open the window for fresh air and try to sleep through the constant noise of trains and trams, or close the window and steam in the heat of the room.

Got the hotel for 2 night stay in Dusseldorf to watch the Arctic Monkeys at the Mitsubishi Arena. Hotel is 5 min walk from the station and on a quiet street. Its about a 25 min stroll to the main strip of bars in the old town. The arena was also a 30 min walk too so saved cash on having to flag taxis Didn't get breakfast but looked very nice walking through Great location, friendly staff, clean room and at a good budget price

Had a great stay at BW Ambassador hotel. I arrived a bit too early but there was no problem getting my room. Location great - close to the railway station. On this site, it states that Wifi is available in public areas. This is not true. It is accessible everywhere - in the rooms too. My room was towards the courtyard, which was great, but you could still hear and feel the trams passing by on the other side of the buildings, but it was no big deal and it was quiet at night.

Good quiet room on 5th floor. Minibar. Safe the right size for a laptop.

Hotel rooms were small. Elevator was extremely small. Beds need a refresh. Paid breakfast left much to be desired.

Close to the train station and about 15-20 minute walk to the shopping, bar, restaurant area. Metro station is also right near by. Small room but fine for a couple nights stay.

Very close to train station, on a little quiet street. But all is ok

Extortionately expensive hotel €499 for one night.
