Days Inn by Wyndham Corvallis

When we got there, the staff was really nice and let us check in early when our room was ready but the cleaning staff forgot to clean the hair out of the sink. The sink itself was crumbling and stained. The carpet was stained and the paint on the walls was chipping off. When I pulled back my bedsheets, there was what I hope was a ketchup stain on the blanket and when I called to ask for a new one, he said he would bring it by, but never did. The worst parts, though, where when around 9 o’clock at night, they shut off the water because somebody had nicked a sprinkler line and they had to turn off the water in order to fix it. That meant we couldn’t use the sink or flush the toilet for a few hours, they were working into the night, making lots of noise and when I called to ask about why there was no water they didn’t offer to bring us any or do anything to make up for the inconvenience. I was also woken up abruptly at 4:30 in the morning to the sound of police officers banging on the door of a nearby room, dog incessantly, barking, and fear for my own safety as well as my child’s I brought this up to the front desk the next morning and all they said was “I’m sorry that happened.” No offer to compensate or refund our stay. I understand that the police coming was not their control, nor was the water breaking, but the fact of them, knowing about it, but doing nothing to improve the stay for their guests was the frustrating part as well as not simply getting a blanket

Upon entry, I took note of the stained carpet and out of order sign in the ice machine. When I opened my door, I was immediately struck by the condition of the carpet. It looked filthy. I knew I would not be taking my shoes off my entire stay. I inquire about the filthy carpets at the front desk whereby the desk agent said they were clean, just stained. I didn’t believe her. To add more fun, the water was shut off. When I called about that, I was told that they were working on the problem. I had just fallen asleep when the phone rang at 11:15pm and some idiot told me the water was back on. Horrible experience here.

Excellent staff, but the facilities are super run down (hallway carpet should have been replaced 5 years ago, 3rd floor ice machine has been broken since at least 2019, etc - feels like zero effort has been put into repairs and needed upgrades/replacements since I first stayed there in 2018).

The webpage listed a mini fridge and microwave but my room had neither.

This property is old and rundown. The staff were nice, probably the only thing good. Beds and pillows were uncomfortable, we stayed 2 nights and never had hot or even warm water for a shower. It was osu move in Weekend, so all the hotels were packed, i would not stay here again.

We had a great stay wonderful staff and service. Clean towels and sheets.

Hotel is not kept up. The hallways are full of stained carpet and unkept areas. Room was fine but overall place needs some TLC. We left a day early.
