"It is paradise"

This place is beautiful, super calm and the staff is really kind and attentive. It is a paradise!

The vegetarian options for dinner are limited, and they need some improvement.

Location, scenery and nature. Good breakfast.

1. They double charged me, couldn't figure out how to resolve at front desk and stopped communicating via booking.com 2. Morning alarm was construction noises as they were building a small pool by the Cabanas without prior notice or warning 3. No wifi at the room as promised

"Very nice place to stay with noise of waves against the rocks from the ocean"

9.0

we were in cabana uno. Amazing open room without walls, right above huge rocks between ocean and river. Large waves hiting against the rocks nonstop. It was beautiful to sleep with this noise :) Place was very beuaitufl and staff was kind while we were there.

we left our brand new iphone plug and charger in the wall. As soon as arriving to the next place we noticed that. Somehow it was never found in this place again. Then we question were did it disappear, because surely we left it behind. So at the end from our side there was a disappointment.

Location is breathtaking from every direction. The grounds are nice and thoughtfully planned so there’s many spots to either connect or have alone time. All Staff were absolutely fabulous.

The ocean was very loud despite warnings from other reviewers, the waves are rougher at night. Use the earplugs they provide and you’ll sleep fine! Because the room is open, if it’s stormy your stuff will be damp. I think another room would have been better for us. Breakfast could be better (they were out of a few things and papaya was bad) More outlets for charging device and a shelf near bed would be nice.

"A perfect time in tune with nature"

9.0

Wasn't what I expected at all. The description was spot on, but I thought I was going for a luxurious 2 week break with a sea view. It was definitely overlooking the sea. It was a beach cabin, high over the sea, no windows, small space, but perfectly formed for a few days break. (No windows, and a bed above a space to put your bags, and a 'private/cabin bathroom). We had a mosquito net over the bed, and yes electricity (two low lights - one over the bed head and one on a shelf set up at the end of the bed/past the wooden steps up to the bed). It wasn't luxurious, but you were definitely at one with nature. We were lulled to sleep with the sound of the big surf crashing on the beach. Bless the team, they had a hotel too, so gave us a nice big luxurious room for the last 2 nights so we could have a hot water shower and had room to pack (as we had come from a 3 month overland/camping trip). It was a fantastic experience and if you love the sea and nature it is definitely for you. We did enjoy our 12 night stay (in the open, at one with nature) and our 2 night stay in the hotel side. We saw (in the grounds) 2 different types of Monkey, an adorable scarlet macaw, named Roberto, (became a firm favourite of hubby), cayman, iguanas - lots (and very large ones at that) a snake - beautiful river snake), A large toad, who was lovely, geckos galore, a capybara, a couple of cats and dogs (all were very friendly), and beautiful flora and fauna. The resort was very clean, and the staff were fabulous.

It probably is normally just for a long weekend or a couple/few days trip, as we were apparently the longest 'stayers' in the cabins, but we did enjoy it immensely. The food is good, but not an extensive menu (especially for vegetarians), and there isn't much in the vicinity, except the official Tayrona Park - which after queueing for ages, we didn't bother with as we saw all we needed to at the Finca/Cabin

"Fantastic"

10.0

Fantastic location with views over the river and the ocean. Good options for food. Staff was very hospitable. We loved our open cabaña right next to the ocean.

The driver (not a staff member but nevertheless arranged by the hotel) on the way back made us feel uncomfortable due to his driving style and his awkward behaviour.
