Mia Reef Isla Mujeres - All Inclusive

This place is heaven on earth. Our waiter most days was J C, he goes above and beyond to make all guests feel special. Best service Ever, and always with a smile on his face. Luis and Saul at the are awesome too!!!

Visited middle of December 2025. The beach was clean, rooms were great, and the food was fresh and delicious. The wait staff was all great but there was an amazing one named JC! He is great at his job and made the experience twice as great! He would wade out into the water and bring us drinks, always checking if we needed an umbrella for the sun, and played beach volleyball in the pool with us for a bit. I have been to many resorts around the world and honestly have never had as great of a server as he was! Very grateful of him and the place he works is much better with his energy!

We had an excellent experience thanks to our server, Alejandro Puc. He was friendly, attentive, and very professional throughout our visit. Alejandro made sure we were comfortable, answered all our questions, and provided outstanding service with a great attitude and a warm smile. His attention to detail truly enhanced our dining experience. We sincerely appreciate his excellent service and would be happy to be served by him again. Highly recommended!

JC was very attentive, went above and beyond. By far the best staff member to have around. It's no surprise everyone seems to love him.

The service that JC provided made the stay worth 5 stars. Once his shift was over all service went down and fun vibes left!! JC makes it fun.

Such a beautiful place, the food and beach were wonderful and Michelle at the front desk was very helpful. Snorkeling and water activities were included and the sunset was stunning.

The property was Beautiful, The grounds out side are amazing, but pool was not heated and cold. Beach is beautiful. Lots of places to be outside with or with out kids. It was winter so we could not use the Kings bath, but looked like it would be amazing.

The hotel room was terrible, Old and broken, we were placed in a room for Handicap. 1st floor very little decor and zero ambiance. Our shower flooded the room. Food was very bland and not very good. Time share sharks waiting for you to come out of your room literally. They have Villas for the Owners that looked great from the outside. The bar used the cheap liquor, so ask for what you like and watch them because they will switch to the cheap.

My wife and I have been coming to Playa del Carmen in Mexico for many years. We were told to try Isla Mujeres. We stayed at the Mia Reef and it was amazing. The location and beaches are spectacular. The hotel is very nice and the room was great. We stayed in the Grand Aqua Villa and had excellent access to everything. The food at the Buffet was great and there was something for everyone. The one aspect of the hotel that really stood out was the amazing hospitality and very friendly staff. I would like to mention Roberto at the Cerviche Bar who went out of his way to bring additional food from the main buffet. Last but not least is the “mayor” of Mia Reef, JC. He is not just a waiter, he is the heart & soul of the beach bar that made sure that everyone at his station was well taken care of and happy. Love this place. Will be back soon. Scott & MJ

What a great find! Our experience at Mia Reef was excellent! All of the staff was friendly and very accommodating, but JC was the best. Clean facilities and great atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

Exelen service everyone was very friendly very helpful.especiality Efrain 1 and Efrain 2 beach are from the bar. Great location amazing view. I would definitely recommend to family and friends
