It was homeless and comfortable, owners was polite and welcoming

Possibly more room service and faster responses.

Very run down and the hotel was not manned as stated fridge in front of the door to get into room and in one room the ceiling leaked all over the guests clothes

Good location for town good size rooms and lovely staff cheap and cheerful 😊

Of paramount importance is to give public praise (🙏)the hotel staff (namely two particular individuals). Who are/were ; Approachable, Respectful in any conversational situation, they made alternative arrangements for me and my benefit which ensured I had a room throughout the an extremely popular hence extremely expensive event making the cost of the hotel at least double the normal price (£200). I've been made to feel comfortable and would recommend on that basis alone. The facilities and standard is not fancy you get what you pay for however as far as kettle shower own bathroom and a bed with clean sheets and a warm duvet. There is central heating and they're not tight with it so it's good to be warm in my room which I appreciate as I suffer with MS which affects me immensely especially with the cold and damp weather. In glad I found it. Kind Regards Grace

The tv was large There were refreshments available such as tea and coffee but we daren’t use them due to the cleanliness and experience

The main door and front door had been kicked through therefore boarded up. There was a horrible smell in the hallways. The code provided to the main door was wrong and when ringing the landlord for the proper code there was no response luckily I managed to try a few codes and get it correct and then I messaged the landlord and received a thank you. The carpets were disgusting. The room door was broken and covered with bright gold vinyl wrap. The room walls were all poorly painted black and the ceiling dark purple, there was no fire fitted just a hole and a tiny little heater was put in the room due to no central heating. The bunk bed chained to the wall, the curtains hanging off the rail. Both tables in the bedroom were painted black old and there was an outdoor glass table as a bedside table. The walls in the bathroom were painted black and there was a wardrobe in the bathroom with a door missing that was also painted black. There was a computer chair in the bathroom randomly, and the towels were folded and put on a dusty window sill. The shower doors weren’t clean so we didn’t use the shower at all over the two nights. There was no hot water only like warm. It literally looked like someone had just dumped two beds and a few items in a spare unused fusty room as a last resort and thought that will do. We couldn’t book anywhere else because everywhere was full due to the event. So me and my child and husband had to make do. We had messaged the landlord and had no response. What a waste of money!
