Nothing but mould everywhere everyone was rude

Everything about the hotel false advertisements of the rooms and facilities plus the manager was rude

Great Shower and quality toilet paper.

An hour before check in I received a message to move to another property Chaplins, around the corner. Disgusting smell (cat pi**) as soon as you entered the building. Carpets were filthy, door handles and Bannister were dirty and sticky. One of the worst places I’ve stayed in.

Only good thing it was near the front.

When we came the keys to the room were meant to be in a lock box, the keys weren't in there. There was no one there to ask for help and it wasn't until a person staying in the hotel magically appeared with the keys to our room and when we finally got in the room the TV was on and the cups in the room had been used and there was still hot water in the kettle. The hot water taps in both bathrooms wouldn't work and the TV in one of the rooms near fell off the wall, no light in the bathroom only a lamp plugged in on extension lead under the sink. When we got back at night the main door had been kicked in. Very disappointed with our stay we really didn't feel safe at all here.

Absolutely disgusting. Falsely advertised. Nothing like the pictures. Upon arrival front door broken and boarded up. Disgusting smell throughout hallway and bedroom. No water running from hot tap. Extension lead running accross middle of bedroom floor to bathroom, where a lamp was on the floor under sink as main bathroom light did not work. Door frame to room damaged. Owner did not answer phone when I tried to contact them. I had to find last minute alternative accommodation for my family as I felt unsafe in these premises and hygiene, health and safety was non existent. Had to pay out additional cost for alternative accomodation of £250. Owner has not responded to my cancellation request. I have lost £250. I will be contacting trading standards as this is false advertisement, ruined my only family holiday. I have requested booking.com to investigate this property as I cannot believe they are advertising this disgusting premises and letting the owner get away with taking customers money when I couldn't even stay at the premises through no fault of my own. I have been offered good will gesture from booking.com of £35 not even a refund of what I paid £250 absolutely disgusting. I cannot understand how this premises are still able to trade and why they haven't been shut down

The hotel was unclean , had a horrible smell everywhere , the rooms were dark , dated and awfully decorated . There was no running hot water , the electric sockets did not work . We had our granddaughter with us and she is only 18 months old and we felt like we couldn’t let her touch anything or crawl and play on the floor for fear of her getting poorly . The front door to the property had been vandalised and was boarded up at first glance when we arrived it didn’t even look like the hotel property was as even open . There was no WiFi which was advertised or any reception staff to report anything to the number we were given just rang out and nobody answered it . The advert also said that there was a children’s play park which there wasn’t .

The location was great and very convenient. However breakfast wasn't served.

Easier check in and check out system. However, we both enjoyed the stay and staff were friendly and helpful. The phone number needs updating on the website. Other than that, nothing much was wrong.

Hostile, threatening host. Difficult to resolve with Booking.com if you have a dispute but it is pending. Frightened us so much and we had to stay elsewhere which thankfully we were able to last minute. Scary stuff
