Ardern Hotel

I cannot rate the arden because 2 hours before I was due to book in I was told they could not accommodate me. But their sister hotel Chaplins could. So having no where else to go I reluctantly accepted. So tthis reference is about CHAPLINS hotel. Avoid it

Wallpaper hanging of the wall because it was so damp. Mould in the bathroom. Noisy

Only see staff on arrival and wasn't staying at place I booked

Shower was broken

Staff were brilliant could do with little update on decorations but it was good enough we were not in alot

Good location.

It was nothing like the pictures. More like a half way house. It was dirty and stunk of cigarettes.

Nothing

The front door of the property was disguising had door boarded up like been kicked through pictures don’t look nothing like the property they had a old fridge out side our door that was stinking the whole hall way out making me sick, was a leak in the room on to the tv that then didn’t work!!

Its was really clean and the beds where really comfy too

No table to put the kettle on to boil it, i had to put it on the floor but it wasnt a problem.

Nothing, the hotel was dirty, smelt awful of wet dog,there was a dog constantly barking, wallpaper ripped off the walls,fire alarm had been disconnected, the room was nothing like advertised on booking.com, was meant to be an apartment was 2 rooms with adjoining door, ceiling coming down, locked out of our room for 4hrs. Manager was very rude and did nothing to help us get back in room, we didn't stay here paid for another hotel. This hotel needs closing down and having a complete refurbishment for health and safety reasons.
