Baymont by Wyndham Columbus/Rickenbacker

Location was quiet mostly and peaceful. Breakfast was okay.

Everything other than the location. The place felt old and was very dirty. The was a consistent odor that you smelled all the time. There were people who looked like they were living out of their vehicles in the parking lot and so on.

Good location with friendly and helpful desk service. One of the better values at the time and location we wanted.

Somewhat worn and doing some construction to rehab , but why not replace degenerating drapes, shower curtains and towels? They are falling apart or being ground up in the wash? It makes the otherwise nice room somewhat depressing (though only one desk chair and despite plenty of room no other chairs or sofa. Also the last day the food had been left on the warmers too long or were reheated from the prior day but were close to inedible…couldn’t even put a fork through the tater tots.

The location and quietness

The Wi-Fi didn't work, the fact we couldn't eat breakfast in our room with peace and quiet or we would get charger 25 dollars and there wasn't even enough space for people to sit down and eat. The gym room was inside the pool room which closed at 9 so no late night workout. The elevator made scary loud noise, making me think it wouldn't work properly, but it did. The 2 double bed room was super small.

The value was very nice and the room was clean. The staff was pretty nice, but a little confusing.

The room walls were very very thin and you could hear neighbors very clearly. And the pool was unsettlingly cloudy, with bodily trash about the edge.

The floors were lumpy/ soft in spots. The elevator seemed dated and scary.
