"Nicest neighborhood in the coty"

10.0

Close proximity to just about everything, this quiet spot in pacific heights is a great place to take SF at a leisurely house, while getting a sense of the architectural and artistic styles in the city at the turn of the last century. and the staff was supper friendly and helpful, arranging everything we needed!

"Stay at Jackson Court - June 2016"

6.0

We stayed in this Bed and Breakfast the second week of June 2016. It was not a bad place by any means, however the mattress on the bed was very old and lumpy. The bed linens were very cheep - made of polyester and scratchy. I am not a fussy person and don't require 1000 thread count sheets, but these were really bad. No AC in the room and I sweated all night. A ceiling fan, new mattress, and better quality sheets and blankets would have really helped. I may be spoiled on B&B's, but I am used to a hot breakfast every morning. The breakfast here was very sparse - much like you would receive at a Holliday Inn Express. The room was nice and the bathroom was big. We had a fireplace which was nice also. All, in all I guess it would depend on personal preference as to your experience at this B&B. Some people might not mind the amenities - but to me they could have been improved and I would have enjoyed my stay more.

"Comfortable and charming"

8.0

This is an old San Francisco home that has been remodeled into a quasi-bed & breakfast. The rooms are well appointed with old fashion furniture, antique type pictures, and historic memorabilia. The morning breakfast is a basic fresh fruit, bread and cereal bar with coffee, tea and juices. Not real fancy but fresh and filling. The employees are very friendly, helpful and can provide lots of great tourist advice. The only downside to this hotel is that there is no elevator and all the rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floor. You need to hump your bags up the stairs to your room. Sometimes there is hotel help and sometimes you end up doing it yourself. The hotel is very close to a number of the trendy areas of San Francisco. We would stay here again, just bring fewer suitcases.

"Good enough considering this is one of the cheapest hotel in the area"

8.0

Very interesting experience in a great Pacific heights neighborhood. Close to Fillmore street with shops and restaurants and close to the awesome Lafayette park. This place makes you feel like you are visiting friends, so not your typical hotel. Didn`t care for breakfast, but it is better than nothing at all.

"Cool alternative to "the usual""

8.0

Nice 1900 old home that's been converted into basically a b&b. Incredibly nice staff. Beautiful, authentic furniture and its location in Pacific Heights, away from the hustle, made this a really cool alternative to my normal hotel schtick. I'd do it again!!

"Nice stay at Jackson Court San Francisco"

8.0

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the Jackson Court to find a beautiful old mansion converted into a B&B. The entry sitting room was warm and inviting with a fire burning and a tea buffet. The adjacent room for reading or using your computer was also quite nice. Although there is no elevator, the large hallways leading to the rooms made bringing up the luggage quite easy. The room was large, with 2 large closets, a desk and a small table with sparkling cider which was replaced as used. All the rooms were different, older decor, but I liked it that way. The breakfast room was light and airy with a bountiful cold buffet. The refrigerator was available for guest use as well as the breakfast room to 'dine in" if you chose. However, there were plenty of very nice restaurants and good shopping in the nearby Filmore Street and Union Street. The Jackson Court is in the Pacific Heights area, which is residential and quite nice for a walk. I would stay at the Jackson Court again in a heart beat.

"Looks nice, but needs work"

2.0

The room was very hot and there was no climate control in the room. The bed was not comfortable, and the pillows sucked. There were two wine glasses with a couple of small bottles of Martinelli's. If you are going to have wine glasses, put wine next to them. Finally, our room was next to the kitchen. We were out late at my company x-mas party and got to sleep somewhere around 1 AM (a Friday night). SOmeone started banging around the kitchen at 6:30 AM (on a Saturday morning) prepping the breakfast. The person was even heard blowing their nose and spitting out phlegm. Nice wake up. The breakfast was also highly underwhelming.....corn flakes, some yogurt, a few cold rolls. We ended up going out in the Fillmore for something decent.
