"Mother's Day Stay"

8.0

Our daughter lives in the City and I grew up there so we go up to quite often ,this time for Mothers Day. it was our first time at The Jackson Court and we loved it. The service is very good, the breakfast room always very clean and Evelyn and her staff always accommodating. We stayed in room 3 which is spacious with a queen bed and a sitting area with fire place. What we loved is there are three windows allowing tons of light in and they open and close allowing us to breathe the beautiful ,cool, San Francisco air. The Pacific Heights location is quiet, very beautiful and a two blocks from Fillmore St. for bars, restaurants and a movie theater. Union St. is four blocks down the hill for more of the same. Neighborhood parking is 2 hours from 8am to 4pm. After that we parked and were good till the next morning, saving forty to fifty dollars a nite and ever had a problem finding parking. The breakfast could do with hard boiled eggs but all else was good. The wi-fi's a bit slow, but who cares? The Jackson Court is our new favorite place to stay in SF!

"Great Neighborhood Bed and Breakfast"

Great hotel. Building a little old and damp. Pillows not very comfortable. The hotel could use a little renovation/upgrade.

"Small San Francisco hotel in great location"

10.0

The Jackson Court feels like an historic home in Pacific Heights. Our trip was focused on Pacific Heights, and this hotel is in a great location. it is very near to Fillmore Street with shops and wonderful small restaurants. Parking is a huge problem. We didn't have a car, and getting around by Uber or taxi was easy. There is no concierge or staff immediately available after 7 p.m., so if that is important to you, then this is not the place to be. Our room was spacious with sitting area, large (though slightly dated) bathroom, and fireplace --- very charming. The room was quiet, and we were not aware of other guests. We will stay there again. We likely would not have found it except for its listing on Expedia.

"A quaint retreat in quiet Pacific Heights"

8.0

Had an enjoyable one week stay in February 2016. We were fortunate to get a top floor room that had a one window glimpse of the bay. Clean & comfortable, with a nice continental breakfast and afternoon tea. Bus stop only one block away.

"PRESIDENTIAL SUITE"

10.0

Quiet, upscale area, near to bus, laundry and deli-beer store. Breakfast (fruit, yoghurt, tea, coffee, croissants, orange juice) , Tea(tea, biscuits, ) gracious staff (Evelyn :) etc, It is walk-up, by the way. Pipes are being installed outside, at a snail's pace. Bed quite comfortable. TV very good. Plenty of towels. The mysterious click outside was revealed to be skate-boarders going downhill and encountering sidewalk bumps. Evelyn and Randy helpful in general, esp with calling cabs. Would stay again, have recommended to my friends (both of them) :) SF CAVEAT: bring scarf and warmer clothing than you would expect Chicago got title first, but SF is really the Windy City.

"Wonderful place to stay near everything."

10.0

My husband and I stayed here because we wanted something kind of half way between Fisherman's Wharf area and Golden Gate Park. It was originally a home built in 1900 and they have done an amazing job of keeping it nice. Basically there are 4 rooms on each floor, very tastefully decorated each with its on bathroom. They even have fireplaces in each bedroom with logs to light. The kitchen is open for everyone and you can store your food items there. They have breakfast every morning and tea time every evening. It was very quiet and peaceful and all of the staff were wonderful.
