"Excellent beyond description!"

10.0

This is a beautiful place in a very convenient location. Bus #10 stop right at the entrance. Many other routes stop close to the hotel. The place it’s gorgeous, clean with antique design. The staff caring, friendly always quick to help. The continental breakfast is diverse and delicious. The room was clean, beautifully decorated, spacious, very quiet. Our visit was definitely better because our stay here, we call it our SF home. It’s cozy and homey indeed! Looking forward to going back!

"Excellent beyond description!"

10.0

The most cozy and homey place I’ve stayed in! An elegant classy antique building with the most awesome and convenient location in SF and a friendly caring staff. The place is very clean! Beautiful and spacious room with plenty of closets. Great continental breakfast in a nice dining room. Books and tea by the fireplace with classic music in the background. Our stay in this place we now call our SF home made the visit to the city even more enjoyable. Looking forward to going back!

"Wonderful stay. "

Great location if you don’t mind walking, which is the best way to see the city anyway. Friendly and very helpful staff, room spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast choices very good, and nice to come back for afternoon tea. Would come back here any day.

"Felt part of the city here in this quiet neighborhood"

10.0

The staff are so helpful, welcoming and genuinely care about their guests. The continental breakfast each day was delicious! The cut up fruit was so fresh and the muffins were very good - glad that I had the hills of San Francisco to work them off. We got there a bit before check-in but they had our room ready. It was on the 3rd floor and we totally did not expect the young man to help with our bags but he insisted. He helped us to figure out the website to pay for the toll across the Golden Gate bridge so that we would not have to let the rental car company pick that up and add their charges. He let us know that the Bay to Breakers marathon was the next morning and advise what roads would help us to get out of the city for our three day trip to San Jose, San Simeon, Monterey and Carmel by the Sea. Parking that first night wasn't too bad on the street but we were grateful to drop the car back off at the airport at the end of our three day adventure. We used the Bart system to get back into town and then did a 2 day hop/on-hop/off bus and night tour. The first day we rode around the city to decide where we would get off the next day. That evening we took a $12 cab ride from Union Square back to Jackson Court. We also used the city buses in the days that followed to get close to our destinations. I will warn you that after 6:30 buses are not allowed in the Pacific Heights area to minimize the noise. Each day between 3:30 and 6:30 Jackson Court had tea and cookies in the main room. They would light a small fire in the fireplace and play relaxing music. I felt like royalty. The also left Hershey Kisses by the front door and those were a nice treat at the end of the day. There is a laundry mat just on the next block. The kitchen is on the second floor and can be used to refrigerate or heat up leftover dinners. There is an filtered water machine that distributes cold and hot water. Before we came to Jackson Court, I read reviews back to 2007 and I think there were only two that were not good. Do no miss the opportunity to stay at Jackson Court - it was a wonderful experience!

"Nice location and service"

8.0

It was a really good stay in a nice, safe location. Employees were very nice. The continental breakfast was good, not great; mostly some croissants and bagels with butter and cream cheese. Don't expect eggs or any proteins. Wi-Fi was pretty weak, possibly just in my room, which they warned me about when I checked in. Decor is older victorian style (think floral wall paper). Overall, the good customer service and nice location were the highlights of this hotel. No irons/ironing boards in room but there is one located in a shared closet area

"Quiet, quaint, comfortable and convenient."

10.0

Stayed one night. Chose this spot due to the ratings on Expedia and its close proximity to CPMC (two blocks). With a feel of old San Francisco, Jackson Court is cozy and welcoming. The staff were great. Our room was more spacious than I expected, and was quite comfortable. Parking is scarce, which is true of most of SF.
