Best Western Nottingham Derby

Very convenient for getting around. Plenty of parking places. Nice lounge space. Restaurant appropriately appointed. Staff in hotel and restaurant excellent. However, although the bedroom was large and bed very comfortable, the bathroom facilities let it down. Dry dated and stained.

Jemma from housekeeping was really polite and helpful. Carl on the desk willingly assisted with my search of tourist attractions (at 1a.m.!)

Very good service from hotel and restaurant staff. Room large and bed comfortable. However bathroom white goods rather dated and needed replacing, in particular the washbasin and shower cubicle.

We only stayed for one night, but we were surprised that there was no lift (and we were on the second floor.) The decor was rather tired, hall carpets were badly stained and the mattress wasn't very comfortable. The heating control wasn't working and the room was very hot as the radiator was on, despite the outside temperature being above 20 degrees C. We have stayed at Best Western hotels previously, and they are usually better than this.

The check in was good . The grill is good and the staff were very efficient. The property could do with a lift. The shower cubical could do with replacing as there is a lot of black in it

Hotel was perfectly acceptable and what you would expect from a Best Western. However, I will NEVER stay in this hotel again during the summer months! There is no air conditioning in any of the rooms. I stayed over a hot bank holiday weekend so I was sweating all the way through the night! I also had the thickest quilt ever on my bed so I had to sleep on top of it and not under it. Being right next to the M1 motorway I couldn’t even open a window as the sound of traffic rushing past would have kept me awake. They did have a desk fan that could be switched on but that was almost as loud as the motorway traffic! At the very least they should be providing customers with portable air conditioners so you can cool the room down when it’s hot weather.

Standard BW property: clean, neat, and quiet. Restaurant next to the hotel, so meals were real convenient. Only bad feature to this property is that it doesn’t have an elevator and we had a room on the 3rd floor.

The hotel is very old and tired. The basins and showers are in a very poor condition and need updating. The bottom sheet didn’t fit one of the beds properly and the condition of the mattress cover was bad with yellow stains

Staff were very helpful. All very nice people.

Very disappointed the bathroom disabled handrail next to toilet didnt come down screws loose toilet flush loose bottom of toilet bowl black .bed had pubichairs in it definitely not changed sheets damn write disapointed i have photos to prove
