Booked hotel on behalf of the Somerset County Snooker Association of which I am chairman, for my county B teams trip to Nottinghamshire for county fixtures. The hotel was ideally located for our needs, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very comfortable, and all my B team players enjoyed their stay. My A team is due to travel up to derby later this month for their fixtures, and as this hotel is located equal distance between derby & Nottingham, I will be booking my A team in to this hotel for their trip. 10/10

Comfortable spacious room, and quiet considering how close to motorway it is!

the room was okay, bit worn but we were only staying for 1 night. However the pillows were so hard I was unable to get a good nights sleep which is not beneficial when driving the following day. Overall breakfast was adequate although I had never experienced the fried eggs to come back laden in fat, needed to change plates!

Bathroom provision was poor- shower and toilet squeezed into a very tight space and wash basin in the bedroom. Mattress soft and sank in the middle - poor quality.

Rooms really spacious and clean just the bathroom let it down, could do with some TLC especially the shower cubicle, smelt foisty

Hotel was located close the local crematorium so suited our needs ideally. The only reason that I have not given 5* throughout was because previous guests had smoked in the room and unfortunately the smell had lingered slightly.

Hassle free and quick check in with efficient friendly staff. All good with the hotel and grill 25 was fantastic too. My bathroom/ shower room I felt needed refurbishment. Sink waterflow was very slow and frustrating! Otherwise great location and would definitely stay here again.
