Best Western Williamsburg Historic District

Price. It was in a good location and proximity to Williamsburg and Busch garden.

Booking said they had baby cribs and when we got there they said they didn’t. This caused a huge inconvenience having to buy and return a pack and play. No hand soap or complimentary body wash/shampoo. There was trash left next to trash can in our room.

The breakfast was good and the room was clean and stocked with towls

For what I paid the room could have been in better shape. The toilet paper could fit in the holder because there was no rod to hold it on. The shower ceiling paint was peeling from the steam because there was no fan to suck it out and the room was too small to leave the door open. On the website it said the pet fee was 30.00 but did not say it was per night which the room was not cleaned every day so I don’t understand why it would be per night

The love the fact that my dog was allowed to stay and the fee was low. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the staff was awesome. My family enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. The pool was really nice as well.

Reservations were fine. Property was clean. Breakfast was OK.

This is where the problem came in. I woke up around 2 o’clock in the morning scratching come to find out. It was bugs in my bed. I had gotten bit on the elbow and then on my neck couldn’t sleep after that then I see the bug crawling up. My nightgown lay back down, start scratching on my other arm. Another bug beat me all the way up the right arm left a message at the front desk with my number and the manager was supposed to call me never called. That was the very disappointing. That’s why I’m just responding waiting on a call Will not be staying there anymore

The side door was opened the whole time. Called about it the night we arrived but nothing was done about it.

Staff were helpful and polite. We were able to be provided with all extras we needed like blanket and toiletries. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is ok, easier to go out to eat. This hotel is budget friendly and in proximity to fun activities.

Terrible wifi, couldn’t load anything on phone or laptop. Pool was cold and filthy with dead bugs floating on it, saw many dead cockroaches on the way to the pool. Day 2 had a terrible swage smell on ground level entrance side door, near our room.
