Royal Sea Cliff Kona by OUTRIGGER

We stayed for a week and it was by far the best vacation ever. When we come back, were definitely staying here again. The room was gorgeous, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Very helpful.

I was in town to do a few different tours in the area and stayed here for my trip. Great place to stay and call home for a bit, I think my room was even upgraded! Beautiful views of the lava rock shore and the sunsets over the ocean were priceless. Short walk along the shore to Kailua-Kona and most of the tours picked me up directly from the hotel lobby. Really convenient and would definitely recommend staying here again.

My husband and I stayed in a studio. It was a great size for the two of us. The room was very clean, the bed was comfy, and we loved the little outdoor seating space. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, etc. We didn’t use the pool or anything as we were too busy exploring the island but we loved our stay!

My husband and I just completed a 5-night stay here and had a wonderful experience. Check in was a breeze, very friendly helpful staff, and our accommodations were simply wonderful. Proximity to town is ideal — not too far, nor too close. We stayed in a 1 bed 1 bath condo with a full kitchen. We really enjoyed being able to buy local Peaberry coffee and shop at the local grocery to brew fresh ground coffee and make breakfast every morning while looking out at the ocean and listening to the birds. There was minimal light pollution from Kailua Kona so stargazing was amazing. Also, no noise from the road. Talk about peaceful! If we ever come back to the big island, we will be staying here again.

Excellent property, and wonderful, helpful staff. We had an ocean front room, which was amazing. The pool is great for kids and adults alike. The property is also located a little away from the busy part of Ali’i drive, which makes it great to relax at the end of the day after a day full of activities but is conveniently located near beaches and grocery/convenient stores. I highly recommend the property to anyone planning a trip to Kona.

This isn't so much on the property, but on the failed communication of Expedia. We had all intentions to stay there, but upon checking in the hotel informed us that Expedia had not paid everything/ informed us that there would be additonal cleaning fees associated. Expedia gave us a rate that we paid that was supposed to include everything and this was not the case. My partner and I were not going to be exuberant cleaning fees for a two night stay. We asked for a refund because of the fault on Expedia and they have told us they can't reach the hotel to process a refund for a place that we didnt stay at or check in to.

Very well kept facility with a friendly and professional staff. We would. Be happy to stay there again.
