Kanaloa at Kona by OUTRIGGER

Nice view, landscaping, lots of supplies, dishes, very clean, lots of room. Only problem was that it was not clear if the a/c was included, otherwise 25$ per day extra. So we didn’t use it, and were too hot in the evening and nights.

I have no complaints! Will definitely stay here next time.

Relaxing and a good view and really nice pool with a ocean view .

You guys should try to change the beds, they are too old and noisy very hard to sleep on them.

Watching the waves crash against the rocks and shoot high into the air was hypnotic. Perfect location to watch sunsets either from the Ocean Pool or from my apartment.

I liked the bbq area close to the ocean pool.

Very quiet and a nice location to watch the waves & sunset. We were missing a few things from the kitchen: large pot and cheese grater. Funky smell in the bedroom that never went away.

We would expect that the air conditioning would be included in the rental fee and not as an option (this is like asking if you want heating in the Winter time in Canada). Living room and lani furniture were very dated. The interior door handles on both shower doors were missing. Also, both shower stalls had hair from previous occupants. There was mold on the bottom of the shower doors. General maintaining issues with the bathroom. One of the single beds hardware was loose resulting in noise and movement of the bed. We were not pleased to learn that we were required to pay a cleaning fee after the rental. This should have been mentioned upfront. In addition for paying the cleaning fee we were expected to wash our linens and towels ourselves. It would have been nice to have done basic amenities included such us plastic containers for left overs and plastic wrap. Last, the beach umbrellas were rusty.

Nice area only a few minutes away from the beach and restaurants, room was clean had a few issues here and there parking was kind of a squeeze, had issues with electrical devices (wifi and cable) and also have to pay extra for AC wasnt a big deal to me because was hardly in the room and it cools down at night without it so overall great experience.
