Kanaloa at Kona by OUTRIGGER

Wonderful for a small family that has all the amenities of a resort but without the resort crowd, hustle and prices. A temporary home away from home and the units were clean.

It’s a nice & clean 1 bedroom condo with beautiful ground. We like the fact that we had our own parking spot. The washer & dryer inside the unit was a plus. Our neighbors were a bit loud but otherwise everything was fine.

We were on vacation and when i am vacationing I don't like having to wash towels and linins when before i leave. I do all that when i am home. Then when i check out they hit us with a 400 charges for cleaning i want stay there anymore.

Lovely unit on ocean with view of pool. Gorgeous views and grounds. A few things to know: small covered parking spot which was a challenge fitting the suv we rented. A flight of stairs up to our condo. Pay extra $30 daily for air conditioning. They had me check in at another community a few miles up the road, but then I had to check in again at Kanaloa to get a parking pass and key card. They expect you to wash and dry the bedding before leaving which meant an early morning to get all that done. It’s In a nice location, but a drive to anything to eat or do. Grocery store about .8 mile away.

The property was very nice, however the price quoted for the rental was not what we actually paid. There was a resort fee, a cleaning fee, and taxes that really added up over 1000.00 more. I would have liked to know upfront what all the charges were going to be so I could compare actual prices between properties

everything was great, the size, the amenities, the location, the furnishings all top notch
