Kanaloa at Kona by OUTRIGGER

The Kanaloa resort was perfect for us. It was clean, safe, quiet, and had spectacular views! It was a home away from home. Mahalo!

Nice property, clean and spacious

The landscaping is wonderful and a peaceful property. Our unit was clean, but out-dated, the shower was newly renovated and very nice. Nonetheless, it had two lanai's, which were great. The ceiling fans were quite old and the one in the living room was very loud and the washing machine was extremely loud. Also, the toilet was very low with an oval seat. What wasn't good was finding out 24 hours before our arrival that air-conditioning is available for a fee, which is $20.00 plus tax per day. I understand the need to offset the electrical cost as we lived on the Big Island for several years, ten dollars would be more appropriate. Staff was absolutely wonderful and helpful, the three pools were beautiful.

The condo has basic amenities but very old and needs updating especially on beddings, towels and utensils. Closets need to be more neat and organized. There is a stain on the carpet in the bedroom. Exterior maintenance is perfect.

This is a beautiful property and great for families. We weren't at the Condo much, but it did have everything we needed. They also have 3 pools and one that looks over the ocean. There is also a pool strictly for Adults Only, which helped relieve worry while at the "other" pools with the kids. What bothered me most was that when we checked in at their sister resort down the street we were advised that if we wanted to use the AC we had to pay. If we used it ONE TIME we had to pay for the entire stay. You can't just use it one day. This was an unplanned expense that we didn't expect so be aware!

Excellent experience from start to finish. Check in just and security was fire and amazing. Keep Kanaloa sacred no develop. Mahalo

Very quiet and clean area. Employees were fantastic! Our trip was beyond our expectations!

Nice place. Make sure to get the AC turned on before arrival. Evening gets humid and warm in Kona area.

Beautiful we'll keep property and grounds. Amazing view of the sunsetting over the ocean. Very convenient to nearby activities.
