Courtyard Monterrey Airport

Very close to airport if you're worried about traffic to and from. Multiple restaurants within walking distance. Hotel Shuttle available. Hotel has own restaurant and bar with happy hour specials. Bottle water in room daily. Beds are clean, carpet clean. Convenience stores are nearby and coffee shops. Security 24/7. English speaking hostesses and clerks. If you like routine, are a creature of habit, an introvert, or just like to keep it simple and convenient, then this place will do you well.

This hotel needs refurbishment. A/C with condensador part inside rooms makes high noise together with noisy refrigerator, difficult to sleep. Small gym. Breakfast well below Marriott standard. Service is fast and friendly.

My hotel stay was fine. Room was clean and comfortable. People were friendly especially in the dinning room. Good selection of food at breakfast buffet but I found dinner to be somewhat limited. Would have preferred more traditional Mexican cuisine. Otherwise, all was good.

For a relatively high price paid, i was checked into a dated room with a stiff mattress, no lock box, dated furniture and a window that wouldn't fully close (hence loud highway sounds audible despite ear plugs). The breakfast was pretty good.

Facility is older but well-maintained. Rooms are clean and everything works. Housekeeping is excellent and room is always nicely maintained. Restaurant is full service and has a solid breakfast buffet. staff is courteous and competent. Shuttle service to airport is good.

Everything was excellent

I stayed in this hotel for a few times before and decided to give a try again. I booked this hotel including breakfast for one night last Friday. When I checked in, I was told breakfast will not be included and I can get a continental because I am the elite member with Marriott. It took a while to get my breakfast back; especially frustrated in the beginning of the conversation no one tried to listen to me, but just kept saying I didn’t book a stay with breakfast until I showed the evidence of my booking. Do not recommend to stay, not a friendly hotel!!!

Bilingual staff was well training and very courteous. Area was very safe and targeted to foreign business travelers. If you want to feel like you are still in the US, this is the place. If you want to take in the culture of the city and country, I suggest you stay somewhere else away from the airport. Breakfast was better than US based Courtyard's...however, the rooms and property need an overhaul...very dated and worn.
