Chase Suite Hotel Rocky Point Tampa

This was a pretty cool place to stay. Nice room, comfortable bed, warm shower and it was sweet being by the water. Rooms are set up like condos with a kitchen and living area. They do offer a free breakfast but by the time I got down there, most of the hot food was gone. Make sure you get there before 8:30, it closes at 9:00. Also, it's right next to a restaurant where we were able to grab a quick cocktail and snack. Overall, definitely recommend this place. It's not a five star hotel, but it was affordable.

This place was incredibly hard to find. Their sign was destroyed by hurricane and doesn't light up. And it is in a weird place sandwiched between some quite nice apartments and the Bahama Breeze restaurant. Once I got there check in was nice. I was a bit worried when I was sent across the road to a separate apartment building but one inside it was nice. Very good value for money, clean, comfortable, with a kitchen as well. If you have any difficulty with stairs ask for a first floor unit as there is no elevator. I didn't have the breakfast so I don't know what it is like. Overall though I am very satisfied.

It was close to the venue. They offer a van if you’re flying to pick you up at the airport. The van also takes you pretty much wherever you want to go. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. And the room is fully equipped. Each building is designed as a Quadruplex with two units downstairs and two units upstairs however, there are a lot of steps to climb upstairs..

Very very peaceful. Hotel was more like a apartment. Stove and fridge as well as utensils and plates. Staff was very nice

Definitely an old, hurricane battered property. Extremely musty/mouldy smelling, but had a comfortable bed. Nice property placement

Other guests were smoking right outside our room. And there was no elevators for rooms on the second floor. We had to bear that smell when we carried our luggage upstairs.

We stay to be close to the airport. We found our room to be spacious. They have complementary drinks and snacks in the lobby around 5:30. Very nice.

The best part was being near the water and the dock next to it. There was also a fun restaurant within walking distance. The room itself was VERY old and dated and the furniture was in rough shape. It had a strong smell of mildew and could really use a dehumidifier. There were also crumbs in the couch. The whole room just felt dirty.
