Waikiki Ilikai Marina

It was very clean and it’s is 100% just like the pictures!!!

The host/s were very attentive and gave clear instructions as to how to access the property. We had a minor glitch with the directions (needed to push the green button at the end. This information was in the Booking. com directions but missed on the email). In any event, the room was large and clean. There was a phone number to call if any problems. It was close to the large shopping centre and the Ilika pool. Very central for families up that end of town.

The building itself was old, I expect the 1960s vintage. As such the corridors could have the carpet replaced and attention to inside painting. I understand there was some renovations happening on the outside of the building.

We liked the location of the unit as it was central to Ala Moana shopping center which we love. This is my fourth trip and my family member, her fifth. We will be back as we love Hawaii.

The common area of the units throughout need renovation. That was the only disappointing part. I note that there was a lot of external work being done on the building so perhaps the internal common areas (on each floor) are next in line?

Close to the beach & close to a mini grocery store, also Walmart is with in walking distance, or catch a bus for $3, the room was nice & clean

The hallways were smelly, the carpets could use a shampoo, that was the worst part of the building, if the entrance is nice & fresh I would give a higher rating

The apartment’s location was very convenient- 5 min to Waikiki Beach

There was renovation work on the balcony, so it was closed.

Big property, super well located, comfortable bed. Nice views

You can hear a bit of noise from the street but otherwise it really is excellent
